Everest Base Camp with Gokyo Lake Trek

The Everest Base Camp & Gokyo Lake Trek is considered the grandest walk in the land of the Himalayas. Trekking through this region offers astounding mountain views and the opportunity to experience the lifestyle of the world-famous Sherpa people. The journey also includes sightseeing in Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site rich in Himalayan flora and fauna, visits to some of the highest Buddhist monasteries in the world, and, of course, the ultimate reward—standing at Everest Base Camp itself.

Nowhere in the world is more spectacular than the Everest region. It is home to four of the world’s six tallest peaks—Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse, Mount Makalu, and Cho Oyu—which rise above everything else, crowning the towering ridges of the formidable Himalayas.

This trek follows the historic route taken by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay in 1953. Nothing compares to the thrill and sense of achievement felt when witnessing the power and majesty of Mount Everest up close.
