Everest Base Camp (EBC) Trekking

The Everest Base Camp Trek is considered the grandest walk in the Himalayas. Trekking through this region offers astounding mountain views and the opportunity to glimpse the lives of the world-famous Sherpa people. The trek also provides the chance to explore Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is home to a wide variety of Himalayan flora and fauna, visit some of the highest Buddhist monasteries in the world, and, of course, experience the most rewarding highlight of all—the journey to Everest Base Camp itself.

The trek starts from Lukla, the gateway to the Himalayas. Nowhere in the world is more spectacular than the Everest region. It is home to four of the world’s six tallest peaks—Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse, Mount Makalu, and Cho Oyu—which rise above everything else, crowning the towering ridges of the formidable Himalayas.

This trek follows the legendary route taken by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay in 1953. Nothing compares to the thrill and sense of accomplishment felt when witnessing the power and grace of mighty Mount Everest up close.
