Mount Kailash is the epitome of spiritual and natural bliss. Situated in Tibet, it is one of the most 
revered and sacred places on earth among Hindus, Jains and Buddhists alike. Pilgrimage to it is 
considered as the pathway to emancipation from earthly sins and pathway to spiritual enlightenment. 
Considered as the abode of Lord Shiva and his consort Parvati among Hindus, only a few lucky 
thousand every year are allowed to make pilgrimage to this holy site. While it has different names in 
different religions, its spiritual significance remains of paramount importance among all of them. 
Making a parikrama or Kailash Kora around Mount Kailash is considered as a way to emancipate from 
life-cycles and rebirth and to be one with the spiritual center of the universe. Taking holy bath in Lake 
Mansarovar, believed to be created by Lord Brahma and resided by Lord Shiva, purges sins of a 
hundred yonis and sanctifies human soul of miseries. 
Throughout human history, Mount Kailash pilgrims have shared tales of the divine experience during

Day 01 KATHMANDU ARRIVAL- Arrival at Kathmandu Airport. Welcome by our 
office representative, transfer to the Hotel. Further program briefing in 
the evening. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02 VISA PROCESS – FREE DAY IN KATHMANDU – Our team will prepare 
the necessary documents and process the visa. It will be a free day in 
Kathmandu.

Day 03 KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING - In the morning visit Pashupatinath 
Temple, one of the holiest and most significant temples, dedicated to 
Lord Shiva and a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Budhanilakantha 
(Sleeping Vishnu). Rest of the time is free. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 04 VISA RECEIVED – FINAL PREPARATION FOR THE TOUR – Today, we will 
receive the visa. In the afternoon, we will make final preparations for 
the tour, including packing and shopping.

Day 05 KATHMANDU TO SYABRUBESI/GHATTEKHOLA (2000M/159KM/06-07 
HRS) – Early morning with packed breakfast drive to 
Syabrubesi/Ghattekhola which is small Village near the China/Tibet 
Border. We will have lunch break on the way. Overnight at Guest 
House.

Day 06 GHATTEKHOLA TO KYIRUNG/2900M/25KM- After the breakfast
complete the departure immigration of Nepal side and transfer to the 
RasuwaGadi Border (Nepal-China border) about 15 minute. Complete 
the immigration formalities and check into the China/Tibet side. On 
arrival at Chinese side, welcome by our Chinese/Tibetan representative 
and drive to Kyirong for about an hour. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 07 KYIRONG TO SAGA (4500M/185KM) – After the breakfast drive to Saga 
for about 05 hrs. After crossing the Kyirong city you can see the 
beautiful waterfall where we stop for photography. This day we have 
to cross 2-3 high passes including 5200m pass. Before reaching the Saga 
we stop for Lunch and continue drive to Saga. Saga city is situated bank 
of the holy River BHRMAPUTRA. The road came from the Lhasa also 
join here. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 08 SAGA-MANSAROVAR/4560M/530 KM/07 HRS– Early morning with 
light breakfast drive to Mansarovar-Chui Gompa. This day we have long 
drive so we start our journey as early as possible. Before reaching 
Mansarovar we stop for Lunch and continue drive to Mansarovar. 
When we reach Mansarovar Check point, we will change our Bus and 
start the Lake Mansarovar Parikrama (102km/02 hrs.) by Environmental 
Bus. On the way to Mansarovar Parikrama, we will stop for 
Photography. Before reaching Chui-Gompa you can see Rakshasa Tal 
(Demon Lake). You can have beautiful view of Kailash south face from 
Mansarovar. Overnight at Guest House.

Day 09 MANSAROVAR TO DARCHEN(4620M/40KM)– In the morning take a 
holy bath in Lake Mansarovar and perform the Puja & Hawan. After the 
lunch drive to Darchen about 01-hour. Darchen is the Base camp of 
Mount Kailash. You can buy walking stick and other essential material in 
Darchen. You can have closed view of Kailash south face and part of

Nandi Parvat. Our Sherpa staff will check your health and physical 
condition. YOU CAN GO TO ASTHPATH(NANDI PARVAT) ON AN EXTRA 
COST FROM DARCHEN BY JEEP.
Day 10 DARCHEN TO DIRAPHUK/4860M– After the breakfast with light packed 
Lunch, drive to Yamadwar about 08 km and start the trek to Diraphuk 
(05-06 hrs.). This is the first day of Kailash Parikrama (Kora). Those who 
are booking the horse they start their Parikrama(kora) by horse riding 
and other Yatri start the Prakrima by walk. Yaks will carry all of our 
kitchen goods and equipment’s. Diraphuk is the nearest place to see 
the Mt. Kailash. You can have beautiful closed view of Kailash North 
face. Those who are able to trek they can do KAILASH CHARAN 
SPARSA. Overnight at Guest House.

Day 11 DIRAPHUK–ZUTHULPHUK/4790M/22KM/09-10 HRS.- Early morning 
we will have light breakfast at the guest house and with packed lunch 
we start our trek towards the Dolma-la Pass(5630m). Due to the 
unpredictable weather and longest trek, it is important to start our 
journey as early as possible. We can see Gaurikund Lake while crossing 
the Dolma-La Pass. Night stay in Zuthulphuk.

Day 12 ZUTHULPHUK–MANSAROVAR–SAGA/8KM TREK/520KM DRIVE- Wake 
up early in the morning and trek down to Darchen for about 03 hours. 
After having breakfast at Darchen, start our way back to Kathmandu 
following the same route. Overnight stay in Saga.

Day 13 SAGA- KYIRONG/185KM – After the breakfast, drive back to Kyirong
about 04-05 hours. This is the last night staying in Tibet side. Rest of the 
time is free for shopping around the Kyirong city. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 14 KYIRUNG–KATHMANDU/180KM – Early morning, after having 
breakfast drive to RasuwaGadi. Complete the immigration formalities of 
Chinese and Nepal side, we will have Lunch and proceed to Kathmandu.

Day 15 Last day of the tour, transfer to the Airport to connect to your flight for

Thermal flask, Sun Glasses, Sun Cream, Torch Light with extra batteries, Mask, Paper Soap, Toilet 
paper, chocolates, dry fruits, Glucose, Walking stick, Your own regular medicine etc.
CLOTHING:
Casual wears & comfortable trekking shoes, warm clothing for nights & mornings (strictly no saris), 
Raincoats, Fleece Jacket, Thermal inner wear, warm trousers and shirts, woolen gloves, Balaclava, Sun 
Hat, Woolen socks (some pears), scarves etc.
FITNESS:
Since Kailash Manasarovar situated at very high altitude place, those who are willing to travel Kailash 
Mansarovar, they should be plan properly and consult their family physician and get the following 
tests done. E.C.G., Blood Pressure, Hemoglobin, Blood Sugar etc. Apart from all these tests, the 
pilgrims are advised to start morning and evening walk, jogging, stretching, meditation and regular 
exercise in order to be in physically fit condition.
BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS:
BOOKING & PAYMENT PROCEDURE:
USD 500 should be paid at the time of booking. The rest of the amount should be paid at least 20 days 
before of tour start dates. 
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:
 Personal health checkup should be done with your family doctor considering the journey to 
above 5,000 meter and certificate should be sent to our office for the application of Travel 
permit.
 Medical Insurance with evacuation facility should be done in your city through reliable 
insurance company (The cost incurred is not included in the tour cost).
 Scanned copies of passport with 6 months’ validity from the date of entry to Tibet and 2 copies 
of PP size photos.
 Original Passport should be received by our office at least 15 days prior to scheduled 
departure for visa application.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Groups or Yatri may cancel their travel arrangements at any time. Written cancellation notification 
through an e-mail must be received by the concerned company. The applicable cancellation charges 
will be as follows: 
CANCELLATION CHARGES PER PERSON:
o Cancellation before 60 days: USD 500
o Cancellation before 15 days: 50 percent of tour cost.
o Cancellation less than 07 days: 100 percent of tour cost.
